3rd Combat Helicopter Regiment (Étain)

The brief

French Army light aviation too: the “Grand 3” at Étain — nicknamed the regiment of the night — flies Gazelle reconnaissance and attack helicopters alongside Caïman and Puma manoeuvre helicopters within the 4th Air Combat Brigade. For its EMH 2 maintenance flight we embroidered the “Compos Sui” patch: the Roman legionnaire with his 2-marked shield, Gazelles flying through the Meuse forest — and one detail built for a regiment that lives at night: the “2” and the EMH letters are stitched in phosphorescent thread. Two runs delivered, an apparel quote (black tees and sweatshirts) underway.
