The brief

The Rafale squadron at Saint-Dizier made leather its signature: an embossed squadron shield bearing the arms of Gascony, name-bearing leather silhouette patches for each crew, and a skull series declined across Rafale, Mirage 2000D and 2000-5. Around that thread, some ten orders delivered since 2025: woven morale patches for the traditions cell, hexagon patches, PVC runs, 240 patches for a marathon in Morocco, name tapes for a detachment in Lithuania. A global multi-product project and a “Siroco” series are under review — once a squadron finds its material, the collection grows on its own.

The squadron next door: 15+ orders at the foot of Mont Ventoux

It's the squadron next door — and a page of history. Created in 1949, stood down in 2007, fighter squadron 1/5 “Vendée” was reactivated on 18 July 2024 at Orange-Caritat Air Base 115, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, with the rebirth of the 5th Fighter Wing and some twenty brand-new Rafales. Our workshop is fifteen minutes from the base: proofs get approved face-to-face and boxes are delivered by hand. Orders have kept coming ever since: the spring goodies pack (patches, “EC 1/5 Vendée” lanyards and tees), 400 PVC patches for Ramstein Flag 2026, the ZARA and EAU 88 runs, alert patches shipped to overseas ops (CHAM 67 and 71), the “Drones Hunters”, patches for the SPA 124 and SPA 26 flights, mugs, coins — right down to the base's M88 engine mechanics with patches and pennants of their own. While the 5th Wing writes its new history, we embroider ours next door.

60th anniversary, Tiger Meet, Ramstein Flag — 20+ orders

The French Air Force operational test squadron at Mont-de-Marsan is our most active customer: twenty-plus orders since 2025. The highlight: the Ramstein Flag 2025 pack — NATO's flagship air exercise run by Allied Air Command out of Leeuwarden Air Base (Netherlands), nearly 90 aircraft from 15 nations. For the Rafale deployment, the squadron ordered the round campaign patch (Frisian windmills, four climbing Rafales, the participating nations' flags) moulded in PVC, plus name tapes for the detachment's maintainers and pilots. On top of that: the unit's 60th anniversary (patches, Rafale and Mirage 2000 mugs), the Tiger Meet and its pennants, TANAGRA, theatre patches (a “Black Cat” run shipped to overseas ops, a glow-in-the-dark TBM patch) and full packs of patches, leather name tapes and tees. When a design takes off, we relaunch an identical run — mould kept on file.

Mirage 2000's 40th anniversary + AIR RAID airshow

Two highlights for Luxeuil air base. First, the Mirage 2000's 40th anniversary: 800 commemorative patches in a numbered edition (each piece individually numbered out of 500), and over 1,000 anniversary “Mirage 2000” keychain flames, sold through in successive waves across the season. Then the AIR RAID airshow: 700 event patches delivered across three restocks — the first run of 100 sold out so fast the base reordered 300, then another 300. The classic pattern for big base events: a prudent first print, mould and artwork kept ready, and every restock launched into production the day the order lands.
