Can laser engraving reproduce my squadron logo in colour?

Laser engraving is monochrome by nature (black on leather). For unlimited colours, opt for full-colour print onto leather — same durability, photogenic result. Otherwise, motto + name in engraving remains the authentic aviation option.

What lead time for 120 pennants with different crew names?

18 to 21 business days after artwork approval. Each piece can have a different name engraved at no extra cost. Carabiner supplied, ready to tag flight bags.

Does the leather really hold up in OPEX (salt, sweat, friction)?

Yes: UV resistance ≥3 years, repeated abrasion, sweat and sea salt confirmed. Choice of waxed or varnished finish (matte or gloss). Bespoke-tanned leather, bevelled edges — not imitation.

Can we add a phosphorescent edge for night cockpit visibility?

Yes, optional: phosphorescent edge trim glows at night without lighting. Double-sided possible (name + motto reverse); ideal for OPEX.

What's the advantage of woven vs embroidery (FLAMBR)?

Woven = flat, fine (0.4–0.6 mm), up to 8 colours, short lead (15–18 days), machine wash 40°C. Embroidered = relief (1.5–2.5 mm), up to 6 colours, heavier, hand wash. Woven = discreet & light for OPEX, embroidery = warm character.

Is reflective or phosphorescent thread available as an option?

Yes: reflective thread woven into the border (night cockpit/tarmac visibility). Or phosphorescent border on request. Both = night-cockpit enhancement options.

Can we make 120 pennants with sequential numbering (1/120) per piece?

Yes, each unit can have 1/120 squadron woven in. Same lead time (15–18 days). Heat-seal or overlocked border as preferred. Stainless carabiner included.

Does the Pantone dye hold in OPEX (salt, UV)?

Yes, confirmed: UV 5+ years, stable Pantone dye. Regular machine wash 40°C without issue. Repeated abrasion from daily operational wear = no degradation. It's the French military standard.
